It is possible to import the results file you download from The Primary Assessment Gateway or enter them manually into Target Tracker
Please ensure you have at least v16.5 of the Target Tracker software installed on your computer.
To check this, go to File > About (bottom right-hand corner of File menu box)
To update to 16.5: Installing / Updating the Target Tracker software
*** Due to changes made to CTFs this year, you will need to edit the file from the Primary Assessment Gateway before importing it into Target Tracker - Editing the KS2 file from the PAG
To import:
Once logged into The Primary Assessment Gateway, go to, ‘Available Activity’ then ‘View and download KS2 test results'.
Select ‘Download results’.
Open that page and choose Common transfer file (CTF) – you can then download either full results or full results with TA scores. (Choose the latter if you entered TA judgements into Target Tracker earlier in the term)
Once downloaded, edit the file (as above), then either file can be imported into Target Tracker using File > Import > Update Assessments.
The files can also be used to update your school Management System.
To enter manually:
Home > Primary > Tracking Grid. Click on Tests, choose KS2 SATs (Write or Admin users only).
To enter the raw scores, right-click on a cell in the SAT column and choose; Edit Reading / Writing / Maths Y6 SAT.
NB: To apply special consideration - as this involves 3 points being added to the scaled score, we advise amending the raw score to one that equates to the scaled score required. Please refer to the KS2 conversion tables to support with this.
